Winlet glazing robots revolutionise glass installation – and are now available from glass handling equipment hire and sales specialist Hird.
The industry-leading glass handling machines are designed and manufactured by GMV in Denmark, which has 20 years’ experience of supplying high quality glazing products.
Both models provide overhead glass installation capability and offer superior reach, allowing glass to be installed more quickly, efficiently and safety.
They also combine powerful vacuum lifter technology – each has four glass vacuum suction cups – with a clever, compact design to allow glass installation in confined spaces.
The Winlet 350 has a maximum lift height of 2.8m and side-carry capacity of 200kg, but is still narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway.
The Winlet 575 has a maximum lift height of 3.6m and a side-carry capacity of 275kg yet can transport glass through standard double doors.
Winlet glazing robots have excellent build quality, so deliver on reliability as well as excellent glass handling functionality.
The machines have an intelligent load monitoring system fitted as standard, enhancing operator safety and reducing the risk of load damage.
Both glass handling machines have all-terrain capability for maximum flexibility.
They also provide 360 degree continual rotation and wired remote controls delivering infinitely variable speed controls for the most accurate and safest placement of glass or windows.
The Winlet can also be used to carry and place other materials such as concrete, plasterboard, tiles, steel plates, doors and stone sheets.
