IPAF Competent Assessed Person (CAP)

IPAF Training Course

The one-day IPAF CAP Training Programme is an advanced level of assessment leading to certification that candidates are proficient in undertaking statutory inspections of MEWPs, to the highest specification, as stipulated by legislation/regulations.

Successful course delegates received an IPAF CAP card which is globally recognised and proof that the course delegates have been trained to the highest standard. Their CAP Card lasts for five years. Since June 2021, all UK & Ireland CAP Cards are issued digitally and accessed via ePAL, IPAF’s free mobile phone app. Printed CAP Cards are still available if required at an additional cost.
