RTITB
RTITB is recognised by many as the gold standard in workplace transport training accreditation. Hird is an RTITB accredited provider of materials handling equipment training.
Crossrail
Hird is accredited to comply with site-specific transport and HGV safety regulations and requirements for delivering equipment to and operating on London Crossrail sites.
FORS
Hird holds Gold accreditation for its Southern (London) transport fleet and Silver accreditation for its other locations under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) operated by Transport for London.
Construction Plant Hire Association
Hird is a member of the Construction Plant Association. In line with hire industry best practice, we operate under CPA terms and conditions.
LEEA
Hird is a member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA). We are also members of LEEA’s accredited training scheme, allowing us to gain LEEA accreditation for relevant in-house training courses.
IPAF Rental +
Hird holds the IPAF Rental+ quality standard mark, the globally recognised enhanced standard for powered access rental companies.
Alcumus Safe Constructor
Hird is a member of the Alcumus SafeContractor scheme, which allows our customers and business partners confirm that we meet recognised industry health and safety standards.
CHAS – Health & Safety Accredited
Hird is a member of CHAS, the Contractor’s Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme. Our health and safety policies and procedures have been independently assessed as meeting CHAS standards.
CPCS – NOCN Job Cards
Hird is approved to deliver training courses under the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS), and issue NOCN (CPCS) Job Cards to successful candidate on completion of training.
PASMA
Hird is a Training Member of PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers’ Association). We have been audited and approved as a PASMA training centre.
