Hird awarded IPAF Rental + six years in a row
Powered access rental company Hird has been awarded the IPAF Rental + independent quality mark for the sixth consecutive year.
The achievement underlines Hird’s commitment to setting the highest standards of quality, service and safety as a powered access rental provider, says Managing Director Phil Hird.
He added:
“Achieving IPAF Rental + is one way we can demonstrate to the customers who rent our powered access machines that they can expect clear standards of service.
“We are pleased to have maintained this standard for six years in a row. It is now, for us a benchmark of the minimum our powered access rental customers can expect from us.”
Hird provides a nationwide powered access rental service, providing machines such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, personnel lifts and spider booms, in diesel and electric models.
The company is also a leading UK rental supplier of mini cranes, including spider mini cranes, and glass handling machines, including the latest glazing robots and vacuum lifters.
IPAF Rental+ is a quality mark awarded to member rental companies who have been audited to meet defined standards in customer service, health and safety, staff training, contract terms and machine inspection.
Phil Hird said:
“More than ever before, our customers are demanding absolute certainty that powered access machines offered for rent are high quality, meet the highest safety standards and are the right machines for the job.
“Unfortunately, not all providers meet these expectations. Safety can be seriously compromised by using the incorrect powered access machines. The timely and cost-effective completion of work can also be adversely affected.
“Hird customer service and technical engineers are trained to help make sure our customers have the right equipment and support, including provision of experienced and fully-qualified operators. Our IPAF Rental + award reflects these standards.”
Hird, with a head office, in Hull, Yorkshire, provides a nationwide service, offering powered access machines for rent via three UK regions.
