Hird Training has become accredited to deliver glass vacuum lifter training across the UK. The training can be undertaken at either our Northern, Central or Southern depots or if preferred at a company’s premises. The duration of the course is 1 day and, successful candidates will be awarded with a nationally recognised certificate and photo ID card issued by RTITB.
During the course candidates will cover:
- Health & Safety legislation & regulations
- Operator’s safety code
- Selection of the right equipment for the load
- Operator’s pre-use inspection and operational checks
- Practical operating skills
- Theoretical and practical operating test
- Course feedback and closure
