Hird adds lifting power to its fleet with Grove GMK 3050
Mini crane hire and sales specialist Hird has extended the range of its lifting fleet with the acquisition of a Grove GMK 3050 all-terrain crane.
The machine has a maximum lifting capacity of 50 tonnes with a 38 main boom, giving Hird clients access to some serious big lifting power.
The Grove GMK 3050 has proved an excellent performer since the first model rolled off the production line in 1994, with hundreds produced and put in to service around the world.
Hird Managing Director Phil Hird said: “The 3050 gives our fleet a major boost. It is available for hire or for contract lifting projects as required.
“As soon as the machine came into our depot in Hull it was off out again on its first job. I am sure it will remain in high demand.”
Hird also offers a range of mini cranes for hire and for sale, including Valla pick and carry cranes and UNIC tracked spider cranes, as well as a machinery moving service.
The company provides crane operator training, including an A66 compact crane training course for mini crane operators.
