Hird Opens in Doncaster

Hird has opened a new depot in Doncaster, Mark Trueman, previously with Lifterz has been appointed to manage the new operation, which will start off with a fleet of 150 lifts all of them from Genie..

Hird’s managing director said: “Mark has a vast amount of experience within the powered access industry and we are very confident he will be a great asset to our team.”

The depot will also offer Mini Crane sales and rental, along with IPAF, CPCS and PASMA Training.

At the same time Hird has announced that Philip Moss who joined Hird three years ago, following a career with a local building firm, St Vincent Plant and Speedy Hire, has been appointed as a director, reporting Allan Hemmimgs Hirds operations director.

Hird added: “We were lucky with Phil to find a person with such passion, dedication & knowledge. He was given the initial job to secure local business and excelled very quickly.”
