Hird plans to put on a big lifting show at Vertikal Days
Mini crane, glass lifting, and powered access specialist Hird is planning one of its biggest ever displays of lifting equipment at Vertikal Days 2017.
More than 10 lifting machines will be on show across two stands at the event on May 24 and 25 at its new venue, Silverstone, the home of F1 Grand Prix.
They will include mini cranes, glazing robots, material lifts, vacuum lifters, a truck-mounted powered access, and load monitoring systems.
And there will be a good range of Hird personnel there too, of different shapes and sizes, to give expert advice on how all the kit works.
Hird Managing Director Phil Hird said: “We’ll have our widest range of lifting equipment on display at Vertikal Days in recent years. We’ve added significantly to our mini crane, glass lifting and powered access hire fleets in the last two years.
“Many of the products are proving to be industry leaders, so we want to demonstrate their capabilities to as many customers, and potential new ones, as possible.
“We are also delighted to be working closely with valued suppliers, including Manitex Valla, Winlet Glazing Robots, Wienold, Wirth, PM Oil & Steel, and COBO 3B6, to bring such a great range of excellent equipment together.”
The Manitex Valla pick and carry cranes on show will be the Valla 90E, the Valla 20E, a Valla 20 TRX tracked mini crane, and a Valla 25EL, with a new electro-magnetic front brake.
Hird will have two Winlet glazing robots on display, the Winlet 1000, introduced in 2017, and the Winlet 350. The glass lifting machines are fast establishing themselves as the leading glazing robots in the UK.
Two material lifters also causing a stir in the lifting industry are the Wienold MFC 750 mini floor crane, and the GML 800+ counterbalance floor crane. They will also be on show at Vertikal Days.
Hird will also be showing off a Snake truck-mounted aerial platform and an Octopus tracked aerial platform from Oil & Steel, and a wide range of COBO 3B6 digital load monitoring systems.
Phil Hird said: “Having all this equipment on display helps show what we can do for customers to enhance their productivity and capability. But Vertikal Days is also about meeting people and sharing ideas.”
Hird is at stands 220 and 221 at Silverstone, and would invite all visitors to pay a visit. You will get a warm welcome.
Mini cranes, glass lifting equipment, and powered access equipment can be hired from Hird nationally via its three regional operational hubs. Hird also delivers a wide range of lifting-related training.
