Lifting hire hat-trick for Hird at Executive Hire Show 2015
Mini crane, glass lifting and powered access specialist Hird will be putting on display three of its latest industry-leading lifting hire products at the Executive Hire Show 2015.
Machines taking centre stage at the Hird stand include the Valla 25EL pick and carry mini crane and the Winlet 600 vacuum lifting glazing robot, which now has even more impressive performance.
Hird will also be showing off a new product in the Hird hire portfolio – Load Links, British-made load monitoring devices that enhance safety for a wide range of lifting operations.
The Valla 25EL DC electric pedestrian-controlled pick and carry mini crane will be shown with the new adjustable fly jib, offering a 450kg safe working load at a tip height of 5 metres and radius of 3.5 metres.
The 25EL pick and carry crane is a key offer in the Hird mini crane hire fleet, and is ideal for a wide range of lifting solutions, including glass lifting and installation, machinery moving and factory maintenance.
Winlet vacuum lifter glazing robots have been a huge hit – with talk of them being the biggest step forward in glass handling innovation for over a decade.
The Winlet 600 glazing robot has a maximum lifting capacity of 600kg and is now able to lift through 90 degrees from horizontal to fully above head.
Load Links provide load monitoring links ranging from 12.5 tonnes to 500 tonnes WWL (working load limit). They are available for long or short-term hire (minimum two days) and can be delivered anywhere in the UK.
Load Links are:
- Manufactured in the UK
- Accurate to 0.5% of applied load
- Combatable with all popular shackle manufacturers
- Delivered in a robust carry case with a wireless hand held display with a 200m range and a calibration certificate
- Rated IP67, with ATEX-rated units available.
A total of 150 exhibitors have taken space in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall, Legends Lounge and atrium of the Ricoh Arena in Coventry for Executive Hire Show 2015 on Wednesday, February 11 and Thursday, February 12.
Hird Mini Crane Sales and Aftersales Manager Carl Cooper said: “The range of machines and equipment for hire we will have on display at the Executive Hire Show demonstrates Hird continues to be the one-stop shop for lifting.
“We’re looking forward to meeting many of our clients, and to talk to people who we hope will become new ones. We expect 2015 to be a positive year in terms of the growth of our lifting hire business.”
