Glazing robot delivers major productivity boost
Productivity is crucial to modern-day building techniques where, more than ever, time is money, and costs need to be carefully controlled. The Winlet 600 glazing robot is the perfect response to those challenges.
It can lift, carry and manipulate sheets of glass up to 600kg in weight, placing them where they need to go for glass installation, with millimetre precise accuracy and control.
And that includes lifting and installing glass overhead. Of course, the Winlet can also be used for lifting other non-porous sheet materials, including metals, plasterboard and plastics.
Perfect for glass installation in confined spaces
Its compact design – it is only 875mm wide – means it can be guided through a single standard doorway, and is ideal for working in confined spaces.
The glazing robot can be controlled using a tiller arm or by wired remote control, for when a view from the side or away from the load is needed.

Precision control and class-leading safety
It has fully-automated positioning, can be controlled at a touch of a button by just one operative, and significantly reduces the amount of manual handling required.
This increases safety, both in terms of reducing injury risk for operatives, and reducing the risk of damage to glass and the working environment.
The Winlet 600 glazing robot’s compact design and relatively low weight – just over 1,000kg – means it can be moved quickly and easily around a construction site, and is ideally suited to operating in high rise developments, where it can be transported in most lifts.
The Winlet 600 has four powerful suction cups, and has a maximum side carrying capacity of 300kg, so it can be used for transporting glass to installation sites through confined spaces.
Its hydraulically-powered lifting arm has a maximum lift height of 2800 mm, can rotate its load continuously through 360 degrees, and tilt it through 160 degrees.
Comprehensive safety features include a dual circuit vacuumation system to ensure the load remains under control at all times.
