New 22m electric scissor lift joins Hird hire fleet
Powered access hire specialist Hird has added Dingli’s narrow aisle large electric scissor lift – with a working height of 22 metres to its hire fleet.
The Dingli JCPT2212DC scissor lift is an ideal platform rental option for large structure fit-out projects, for example working in new warehouse developments.
It can be operated indoors and outdoors – the scissor lift has automatic self-levelling for working across uneven or sloping ground – so enhances flexibility and productivity.
Flexible operation

The Dingli JCPT2212DC is one of the largest electric scissor lifts available in the UK. Its direct drive electric motors deliver a number of important advantages for Hird customers.
They give the scissor lift near-silent, zero-emissions operation, supporting a safe and sustainable working environment, and ensuring compliance wth requirements for working in low-emissions zones and in noise-sensitive areas.
The electric motors also support four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer, which contributes to long battery life and precise scissor lift control, enhancing productivity, safety and operator experience.
Confined space working
As the motors are built into sealed units, they are more resistant to dust and water ingress, aiding reliability and eliminating the risk of hydraulic oil spills that can cause pollution and floor damage.
The Dingli JCPT2212DC scissor lift has a platform capacity of 600kg, is designed for two-person operation, and can be driven at full height at full capacity.
The platform is 4.3m long, with a 1.8m powered extension deck, which allows the 600kg capacity to be maintained.
At just 1.25 metres wide, the scissor lift can be operated in relatively confined space – for example in warehouse aisles, and on work sites where other machines require space to operate.
Gradeability of 25% and non-marking tyres also contribute to the Dingli JCPT2212DC’s flexibility and productivity.
