Hirds carries out factory re-locations – from single pieces of machinery through to whole production line re-locations.

A number of industries continue to take advantage of Hird’s machine moving services, including food, aerospace, petrochemical, printing, timber and various other manufacturing industries.

Hirds utilises specialist equipment to supply its machinery moving solutions, including pick and carry cranes, mini cranes, material lifts and material hoists, trolleys and powered access – including scissor lifts and boom lifts or cherry pickers.

The range of pick and carry cranes available includes a large fleet of electric cranes – these machines are suitable for working inside smaller factories and food areas as they are silent and do not give off any emissions. Other cranes are either LPG or diesel powered machines.

The machinery moving service is available to Hird customers anywhere throughout the UK from the Southern depot, serving London and the south, Central depot serving the Midlands and Wales and the Northern depot based at the head office in Hull, serving the North and Scotland.
