Hird supports Travis Perkins with access and lift display

Hird is showcasing high quality powered access and lifting equipment available to Travis Perkins account customers.

An aerial boom, scissor lift and material lifts are due to go on display at the Travis Perkins depot in Beverley, East Yorkshire, on Thursday 25 July 2019.

Hird is working in partnership with Travis Perkins so the builders merchant can offer account customers the UK’s best lifting and powered access equipment.

Steve Stockdale, from Hird, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Travis Perkins to show just some of the access and lifting hire equipment they can supply to their customers

“It makes perfect sense for customers who need building materials and supplies to also source their specialist equipment from the same supplier. That reduces complexity, saving time and making they working lives easier.”

Steve will be on hand at the Travis Perkins depot in Barmston Road, Beverley, to provide expert advice powered access and lifting solutions available to Travis Perkins customers.

Hird Supports Travis Perkins

As well as showing off two of the latest Genie scissor lifts and cherry pickers, Hird plans to display the Wienold GML 800+ material lift and the Wienold MFC 750 K mini floor crane.

Steve said: “Travis Perkins has access to the full range of Hird equipment, which includes pick and carry cranes, tracked spider cranes and the UK’s widest range of glass vacuum lifters.

“All of these items can be supplied to Travis Perkins customers, quickly and seamlessly through the company’s account system.”

The GML 800+ material lift is a push around counterbalance floor crane that can lift up to 800kg up to a height of 7.94 metres.


The MFC 750 K mini floor crane is a simple, powerful and highly compact machine that can lift up to 750kg but is small enough to be carried in a small lift and guided through a single doorway.
