Italian based electric crane manufacturer Valla will unveil its new lightweight 2.5 tonne pick & carry crane – on the Hird – Stand 133 at Vertikal Days in mid June.
The new model, 25EL is based on the 25E launched last September but is over 400kgs lighter and so better suited for applications where point loadings are critical.
The new crane weighs 1,870kgs, has an overall length of 2.2 metres, is 950mm wide and has an overall height of just 1.8 metres. It also features new 48 volt AC electrics with full digital controls.
The crane features a three section full power boom has a maximum tip height of almost five metres, electronic steering system and two position boom nose to minimise head room requirements.
Philip Hird Director said “We purchased the Valla 25EL for a particular job, the weight of the crane was essential for moving the crane between floors on site via an enclosed lift.
The adjustable jib head reduced the overall height required for installing glass windows into what is going to be the largest building in Europe, I also believe this will the first of many Valla 25EL Pick & Carry Cranes that will entering the companies hire fleet.
Come along to Vertikal days and see the 25EL on our Stand 133, speak to our experience sales and service team.“
