Updated Hydraulica 1000 joins glass vacuum lifter hire fleet
Hird has strengthened its glass vacuum lifter hire range with the addition of a new version of the Hydraulica 1000 lifter.
The versatile glass vacuum lifter, which has ten vacuum pads, has a lifting capacity of 750kg, which rises to 1000kg with two extension arms, which come as standard.
The Hydraulica 1000 was already popular for glass handling projects, as well as for lifting other products, such as curtain walling, plaster-board, concrete sheets and stone slabs.
Now, the glass vacuum lifter has been updated and comes with dual cylinder hydraulic rams as standard. This allows smooth and seamless power tilting and rotation.
The update means the operators of Hydraulica 1000 glass lifters can lift and place large loads with even greater confidence, safety and speed.

The new machine is one of three in the Hird Hydraulica vacuum glass lifter hire range. Also available is the Hydraulica 1200 and Hydraulica 2000.

The Hydraulica 1200 is designed to lift large and even irregular loads of up to 1200kg.
As with all Hydraulica machines in the Hird glass vacuum lifter hire range, it has powerful dual independent safety circuits for safe working, a wheeled stand and low vacuum alert.
The Hydraulica 2000 is one of the most powerful vacuum glass lifters available for hire in the UK.
Also recently updated, it has eight removable extensions arms for flexible configuration for different load shapes.
