Hird to demonstrate benefits of 3B6 at Vertikal Days
Hird is marking its appointment as the UK distributor for 3B6 load monitoring systems by demonstrating their benefits at Vertikal Days next month.
The company will be showing off 3B6 on a dedicated stand at the UK and Ireland’s fastest-growing lifting and access event, taking place at Haydock Park, Merseyside, on June 26 and 27.
3B6 produces electronic control systems, including load monitoring devices, focusing primarily on cranes, including mini cranes, lifting equipment and plant machinery.
Phil Hird, Managing Director of Hird, said:
“We are getting a lot of interest for 3B6 and thought it a good opportunity to show visitors to Vertikal Days what the load monitoring systems can do.”
“We would like to invite visitors to the event to come and see us in the market place. We will be putting on displays of what different 3B6 modules can deliver.”
3B6 systems and load devices are incorporated in the products of many well know crane and machinery manufacturers. They help ensure the safe use of equipment and provide valuable operational data to help enhance performance and security. Hird can now offer a high quality service for the retrofitting of load monitoring devices, including load cells, on all machinery.
Retrofitted 3B6 load measuring systems can be installed on:
- Mobile cranes
- Excavators
- Forklifts
- Reach stackers
- Telescopic handlers
- Pick and carry cranes
- Dump trucks
- Drilling and pilling machines
- Wheel loaders
- Lattice boom cranes
- Rail road loaders
- Knuckle boom cranes
Phil Hird said:
- “We provide full after-sales parts and service support, using factory-trained mobile service engineers, plus a calibration and installation service across the UK, from our three depots, covering northern England and Scotland, central England and Wales, and southern England.
“With our national test facilities we can carry out over-night testing of major components to reduce equipment down-time and the need for service call-outs.”
