Hird has launched a new online sales service for quality used equipment.
Among the first machines offered for sale on the Hird website are Valla mini cranes, Genie boom lifts and a Genie scissor lift.
Other equipment no longer required for the extensive Hird hire and contract lifting fleet will be offered for sale in the same way, including glazing robots, glass vacuum lifters and powered access machines.
Hird Managing Director Phil Hird said:
We take pride in having the newest mini cranes, glass handling equipment and powered access platforms for hire. That means we are constantly renewing our fleet, so equipment becomes available for sale.
“There is still demand for these very capable machines, such as pick and carry cranes, vacuum lifters, scissor lifts and cherry pickers, so we are happy to offer them for sale at competitive rates.
“All the equipment available through our online used equipment sales service will have been well maintained and will be in good working order. Customers will be assured of the quality of the equipment they are buying.
Among the machines for sale is a Valla 1725 36SD mini crane, one of the larger Valla cranes on the market. It is a full 360 slewing mobile crane which can be used as a pick and carry crane, with a maximum lift capacity of 16 tonnes.
Other used cranes for sale are a Valla 20E mini crane, a Valla 20E TRX tracked mini crane and a Valla 35E mini crane. Other machines on offer include two types of boom lifts, the Genie Z45/20 Bi-energy and the Genie Z60/34, plus a GS 4390 scissor lift.
