The Valla 90E pick and carry crane is one of the larger machines in our mini crane hire fleet – as such it has excellent lifting capacity despite its small crane size.
We’ve selected the compact crane as the Product of the Month for May to highlight the many features that make this a flexible lifting hire choice for many of our customers.
The Valla 90E mini crane has a safe maximum load of 9 tonnes, yet it is only 1.73 metres wide. This means it has the compact design and mobility to operate in confined spaces.
As such, it is a go-to choice for many clients for working in challenging environments, including machinery moving in factories, facilities management in petrochemical plants, and construction sites for steel erection.
Quiet and sustainable
The Valla 90E is electric powered so it operates with low noise operation and zero-emissions. This makes it ideal for indoor and clean environments, yet is just as capable when tasked with outdoor work as well.
Mini crane hire clients that want to support their sustainability strategies can select from the wide range of electric machines in our mini crane hire fleet, with the Valla 90E being just one model.
Also, the batteries for the 10kW 48v fanned reversible electric motor, with variable speed control, have long-life capability which means the pick and carry crane can be operated all day without recharging.
The Valla 90E has the latest technology to support optimum lifting. This includes a 3B6 load monitoring system for efficient and safe lifting.
The digital system alerts mini crane operators, with visual and audible indicators, if they attempt to operate the crane outside the safe performance envelope.
The Hird team can offer the Valla 90E and other Valla 90 mini crane models both for hire and for sale. Sales customers can have their pick and carry crane designed to meet very specific needs.
An example is the two Valla 90LPG tracked mini cranes supplied to Northern Escalator Installations. The company wanted mini cranes powered by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), allowing them to operate both indoors and outdoors, over long periods of time.
The pick and carry cranes have a negative boom angle of 15 degrees and a positive boom angle of 63 degrees, allowing them to operate highly effectively when picking up, moving and lifting escalators.
We can provide clients with compact crane operator training, through one of our crane operator training centres. The Valla 90E is available through our contract lifting service, so we can manage all aspects of your lift project for you.
