New Delivery Truck – servicing South and West Yorkshire

Hird has introduced a brand new delivery truck to its fleet – offering an even faster, more efficient and safer delivery service for customers.

The 8-wheel Volvo FM vehicle is specifically designed for plant delivery with a rear steering axle that gives optimum manoeuvrability while operating in tight spaces. It also has the latest fall prevention systems to protect delivery drivers, service engineers and client staff.

The vehicle will be based at Hird’s Doncaster depot, servicing areas in and around South and West Yorkshire including Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford Wakefield, Pontefract, Scunthorpe and Chesterfield.

It will provide fast, secure transit for its fleet of cherry pickers (Articulated and Telescopic Platforms), scissor lifts, aerial working platforms and material lifts – as well as its pick and carry cranes, UNIC mini crane fleet and glass handling equipment.
